Client Policies & Booking Terms
Please review all policies carefully before booking. Securing an appointment with Locs By Zee confirms agreement to all terms listed below. Policies are strictly enforced.
Booking & Appointments
All services are by appointment only.
Appointments are confirmed 48 hours prior as a courtesy reminder. Clients are responsible for knowing their scheduled date and time regardless of reminder delivery.
Policies listed on the website, booking platform, and confirmation messages are identical and enforceable.
Deposits
Deposits are required to secure all service appointments and are non-refundable.
Deposit Structure:
Retightening Appointments — $50
Loc Establishment / Install — $275
Deposits go toward the service total unless otherwise stated.
If Locs By Zee must cancel an appointment, the deposit will be transferred to a rescheduled date with priority booking.
Consultations
Consultations are required for all new install and transfer clients.
Consultation Fees:
New Sisterlocks/Microlocks Consultation — $50
Transfer Client Consultation — $35
Consultation fees are required for booking, non-refundable, non-transferable, and not applied toward service totals.
All consultations are conducted in person. Virtual consultations may be offered at the loctician’s discretion only.
Deposits Transfers & Rescheduling
Deposits may be transferred if proper notice is given.
A minimum 48-hour notice is required to reschedule standard appointments to retain your deposit.
Deposits may only be transferred once.
Failure to provide proper notice results in deposit forfeiture.
INSTALL RESCHEDULING POLICY
Due to the extensive time blocked for installation services, a 2-week notice is required to reschedule Loc Install appointments.
Failure to provide 2 weeks’ notice will result in deposit forfeiture.
Payments
Install / Establishment Services:
Remaining balances are due in cash only at the time of appointment. This policy protects against disputed charges and secures multi-day booking commitments.

Debit cards
Cash
No checks accepted.
Failure to provide payment at appointment time will result in service refusal and deposit forfeiture.
Cancellations
A minimum 48-hour notice is required to cancel any appointment.
Failure to cancel within 48 hours results in loss of deposit and a $50 cancellation fee that must be paid before rebooking.
No Call No Show
Clients who fail to show without notice will incur a $75 No Call / No Show Fee.
This fee must be paid before any future appointments can be scheduled.
Late Arrivals
A $30 late fee is applied starting at 16 minutes past appointment time.
Appointments are automatically cancelled after 30 minutes and the deposit is forfeited.
Install Service Policies
Install appointments are blocked for 8–15 hours per day depending on hair length and thickness.
Clients must remain for the full scheduled time and avoid excessive breaks or early departure.
Failure to return for multi-day install appointments will result in forfeiture of all deposits and prior payments.
Client Preparation
Hair must be shampooed within 48 hours of appointment.
No conditioners, oils, or heavy product buildup.
Failure to arrive properly prepped may result in service refusal or appointment cancellation with deposit forfeiture.
Guest Policy
To maintain a professional and focused service environment, no extra guests or children are allowed.
Clients must arrive alone unless prior approval is given.
Phone Etiquette
Phone use is permitted at a reasonable volume.
Profanity, aggressive language, yelling, or disruptive behavior is not permitted and may result in service termination without refund.
Media Release
Locs By Zee reserves the right to photograph and record services for marketing purposes.
Clients wishing to opt out must submit written notice prior to their appointment.
Work-From-Chair Boundaries
Working during service is allowed. Working during service must ensure devices and meetings do not interfere with service flow or movement requirements.
Transfer Clients
If I have not serviced you in the past 3 months, you are considered a transfer client. This includes clients coming from another loctician or those who have not maintained a consistent schedule with me.
Transfer rate is $195 for up to 3 hours. Additional time is $75 per hour.
Please keep in mind, I may need extra time to work through previous technique, maintenance history, or overall condition of locs.
This also applies to one time reties.
Does not apply to active duty military clients currently serviced Locs By Zee clients.
